And here is the same item, linked to the new way:
They look about the same. The only difference is that with the new way, the formatting is a little bit better. I guess I'll stick with the new way.
As you know, I often try to talk about how my choice is "green". The inverter idea comes about because I now do most of my work from my phone or laptop. By doing so, I don't need an office, and can cut down on commuting. But often I find myself waiting in a parking lot or someplace else where I don't have good access to power. Unfortunately, my laptop battery dies after only an hour or so. With an inverter, I'll be able to plug in to the car and keep going. Is this "green", or will the added strain on the car battery outweigh the environmental benefits of not heating, lighting, and cooling, an office? My gut says "probably". It will depend on how much/how often I use it.
There's one other item that we need -- an network adaptor for our Wii. We're getting one so that we can take advantage of NetFlix's new streaming video for Wii. Here's what we'll get: Wii LAN Adapter
